Cleaning fan finds 'the best' mould removing spray with 'no wiping or scrubbing needed'

Once mould has appeared in your home it can be really tricky to get rid of, but a cleaning fan swears by a mould remover spray which you can leave to work on its own, with no scrubbing required

One of the many problems the cold weather causes is mould, due to condensation that forms on windows. It doesn't just look bad, but it is also potentially harmful to your health.

Mould produces tiny particles called spores, and if inhaled these can cause health problems for those who are allergic or sensitive to them.

However, depending on how old your home is and what the ventilation is like, it's hard to keep it completely at bay.

But luckily, a cleaning fan has shared 'the best' mould removing spray, with 'no scrubbing or wiping' required.

Uploading a video to her TikTok account @cleanwithme.no145, the content creator showed a wall which was full of mould along the skirting and up the sides. She then filmed herself spraying the wall with HG Bathroom spray.

The TikToker then filmed the bathroom walls after, which looked brand new.

The cleaning-savvy mum wrote: "Removing mould from walls using my favourite mould spray. It has a very strong smell and the room must be ventilated before spraying, but it removes mould in minutes with no need of wiping or scrubbing. It is available in Asda, Amazon, Tesco for around £5."

Fellow cleaning fans shared their astonishment in the comment section, with one person saying: "This stuff is pure magic in a bottle," to which the mum replied: "100%. Takes all the mould away."

Another said: "Used it on my tiles as well. Cleaned up grout, like new. Wear gloves and open windows. Very good stuff."

A third commented: "Used this product last week after using so many alternatives, amazing product works 100%."

"I swear by this, it's brilliant," commented another.

The HG mould spray is currently available on Amazon for £523, Tesco for £5 and B&Q for £6, and says it "effortlessly eliminates all moulds, making filthy black stains disappear, whilst preventing re-growth".

All you need to do is spray on the affected surface from a distance of 3-5cm, and leave to work for 30 minutes, then clean with water and a sponge.

HG recommends using rubber gloves and ventilating the room while you're using it, as it has a very strong smell.

Mould that has been on the wall for a long time can leave pesky stains, but a decorator previously shared his best trick for getting rid of them.

Kris DeVos, owner of Fox's Painting and Decorating, recommends using a product called B-I-N shellac-based primer-sealer by Zinsser, which costs £22.99 for a one-litre can on Screwfix.
